In 2007 Christian studied for his graduate diploma in law (GDL) at Swansea University, which converted his undergraduate degree into a qualifying law degree. He subsequently went on to study on the LPC and, in 2009, graduated with a post graduate diploma in legal practice from at Swansea Law School.

Christian grew up in Pembrokeshire and Cornwall and has been a keen surfer for many years. He also enjoys travelling, especially to exotic destinations which happen to have world-class waves. Christian also enjoys reading, playing guitar, and generally relaxing outside the office.
