Personal Injury
“In an age when newspapers, radio and television are flooded with adverts to attract those who have had the misfortune to be injured, we believe that there is no substitute for proper advice when you need it most, from solicitors that you can meet face to face whenever you feel the need.”
The firm’s Litigation Department has a long established tradition in the field of Personal Injury, and holds the Legal Services Commission’s Specialist Quality Mark in Personal Injury Law.
The Department has recovered millions of pounds in compensation for clients injured through the negligence of others: be they individuals, councils, or the largest of corporations. Claims commonly arise from road accidents, accidents at work, or slipping or tripping incidents, but there are many other situations that can also form a proper basis for making a personal injury claim.
The partner heading the department is Neil Richards, who is a member of The Law Society’s specialist Personal Injury Panel and of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and its Child Injury Special Interest Group.
Four other solicitors and supporting caseworkers make up the department, including members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Most of the firm’s personal injury claims are dealt with under Conditional Fee Agreements (popularly called “no win – no fee”). For those clients who are not eligible for Legal Aid, this service offers complete peace of mind over the legal cost of making a claim.
We aim to ensure that clients keep all of their compensation, without taking any percentage toward our charges. It is always our policy to recover as much as possible of our charges in addition to the client’s compensation.
Making a Personal Injury claim is seldom as straightforward as many adverts suggest, nor is ensuring that you receive the full amount of compensation to which you are entitled. In an age when newspapers, radio and television are flooded with adverts to attract those who have had the misfortune to be injured, we believe that there is no substitute for proper advice when you need it most, from solicitors that you can meet face to face whenever you feel the need.
