Criminal Departhment:

The criminal department works as a team, and consists of Partners John Allchurch, Michael Davey, Anthony Davies, together with solicitors Andrew Isaac and Gail Evans .

The Firm holds a Legal Aid Franchise and Criminal Contract, as such, are part of the Criminal Defence Service. To a large extent the firm`s objectives mirror those of the Criminal Defence Service in that we aim to ensure that our clients have access to high quality advice and representation at Police Stations, Magistrates and Crown Courts.

Our offices in Llanelli and Swansea are both located at very short distances from the Police Stations and Magistrates Courts.

We have arrangements in place to ensure that representation can be provided at short notice at the local Police Stations and Courts. We also retain a list of suitably qualified Counsel whom we instruct to represent clients at both the Magistrates and Crown Courts.

The head of the Department is Partner John Allchurch. John was admitted as a solicitor in 1982. He is a Duty Solicitor and a Crown Court Advocate. Michael Davey is also a Duty Solicitor of many years standing as is Anthony Davies. These Partners are supported by experienced solicitors, all of whom aim to be able to provide a swift and professional service, and can be contacted 24 hours a day for emergency work.
